Orangetheory Fitness

I’m so glad to have found OTF Mountain’s Edge. Each day I walk in I’m greeted with a smile and genuine enthusiasm from the front staff. The coaches are amazing. It’s apparent they love what they do and truly want you to progress in your fitness journey. They are all easy to approach and treat everyone with respect and kindness. They will stop and correct your form, give you alternative options and advice to maximize your workouts; they’re full of energy and motivate each and every class member. The music they choose is also awesome and the 60min goes by in a flash! I look Forward to my workouts with Mel, Susannah and Taylor and appreciate them so much!

This is hands down the best workout program I’ve ever joined! I joined at the beginning of the year to get “vacation ready” and loved the workouts and environment so much, I stayed. Committing to a workout plan has always been hard, but OTF keeps me motivated! Everyday is a different workout and there are several challenges within every month! The coaches and staff are always happy to see you and will do what they can to help you reach your personal goals.

Was in town for the holidays and this was the nearest studio. Took three of Mel’s classes - she’s amazing! Such great energy and she even remembered my name despite my not having my HRM. The SAs were both amazing and made me feel right at home. Can’t recommend this studio enough, will miss it when I leave!

Michelle at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. BUT the coach, STORM, was a huge disappointment. I brought my 2 friends with me to experience OTF...I was hoping she would walk them through what a class would be like and make them comfortable. She did NOT. Once class started, she gave NO adjustments or encouragement. After class she didn't follow-up and basically couldn't care less about making sure we had a good experience. Also, she was extremely hard to understand during class because she did some weird voice, which she did not have while *briefly and rudely* speaking to us before class. Skip Storm's classes.

I can't recommend orange theory to anyone. There's nothing wrong with the coaches, but I think that the exercise programming is awful. They are so strict on policies, even if you're a day late for cancelations. It has been a huge headache to cancel our membership. I was very sick for two weeks (and then my husband got sick after), which resulted in me being a day late in canceling our memberships. They make it hard to cancel if you're sick and stuck at home - you have to go to the studio in person and sign papers to cancel your membership. As a result, we have to pay for 2 extra months when we no longer want to go because we can't make it due to time constraints and life. Even when I pleaded with a manager because we can't afford the next month's expenses, they were unacommodating and offered a freeze as the best solution. We are really struggling financially right now - suddenly got hit with over 30k of payments in the past 2-3 months because of car repairs, medical problems, and life in general. We do not want to pay for another month, but we are now stuck with a stupid plan. This is awful. Don't join. Go to BFT down the road instead. Better programming and customer service there. Upon talking to them, they also said they won't make a big deal out of cancelations, like orange theory, should problems arise.
